I FINALLY got around to ordering some wax melts. I’ve been so skeptical for so long about them as I thought “how much scent can burning some wax really give off?”. spoiler: the answer is actually A LOT. I am a converted ex-oil/candle burner after first trying some super cheap spiced apple ones from B&M that were £3 for 12 and quite frankly fabulous. So then I decided to order from one of the many cute wax melt sites I’ve been staring at for months called “All That Wax”.
The box came in a big pink plastic envelope which I could straight away smell the melts through when it arrived which made me even more excited. Inside the box, they were all bubble wrapped and cutely covered up in pink tissue paper with a little ‘thank you’ sticker and a ‘handmade’ tag aswell as some maoam sweets too which was the most adorable touch! All the melts are in individual bags with stickers of their scent names on too, here are the ones I picked…
Come on, who doesn’t love Parma Violets!? Odd people that’s who. These are in the shape of adorable little shells and they look and smell so perfect that I forgot myself and almost popped one in my mouth when I first got them out of the pack.
I ordered these for the shape initially as my inner 5 year old/scene kid still loves Hello Kitty and I’m not even sorry. The little bows on them are covered in glitter and I’m definitely going to be sad to watch their cute faces melt away but the scent is so super strong and sweet, I can already tell these are going to be a favourite.
This scent is unbelievably strong and is a perfect mix of marzipan and cherry, I’m struggling to find much else to say as it’s literally one of the best things I have ever smelt. These shapes are cute little stars and have red glitter sprinkled on top!
Because I’m such a sugary scent lover, this was the only sort of autumnal one I bought but it’s just as gorgeous as the others just a bit more neutral and creamy with a hint of caramel sweetness. The design of them also reminds me of mini crème brûlées (they also have that scent too)!
These hold such a clean citrus scent, I’d definitely burn these when needing to wake myself up a bit or just after doing a deep clean of my room to leave a really nice fresh smell behind. They’re bright green so the colour goes perfectly with the scent and are topped with sprinkles of glitter.
Raspberry is always at the top of my favourites list whether it be food, smell, colour or anything related so getting these was a no brainer. It’s actually more of a creamy raspberry than a sickeningly sweet one which is a nice change from the others I’ve ordered. Possibly one to burn whilst in the bath!
The site had a deal on the day I ordered where if you spent over £5 you got a free surprise pack of wax melts and although this isn’t a fragrance I would’ve picked as I had no idea what it smelt like, I’m actually really pleasantly surprised! I’m not quite sure how to describe the scent but it’s another super sweet one and the website says it’s peach, cherry blossom and white jasmine. The design is also super cute, I LOVE the contrast of the pink and iridescent purple glitter on top!
There are so many wax melt brands killing it at the moment so it was so hard to pick a brand to try first but I’m really glad I picked All That Wax as I can’t say I have any complaints about these! A few others I’d like to try are Moonlight Melts, Bubbas Meltys and Bomb Cosmetics also do some called ‘little hotties’ and you can combine them to create your own scent concoction, how cool is that?!
Where is your favourite place to get wax melts from or are you more of an oil/candle kind of person?
