I always get so, so excited about bath products – just incase you hadn’t realised yet. Since being diagnosed with IBD, baths have helped me in unimaginable ways as I’ve mentioned before. I just find them so therapeutic and there’s nothing better than having a nice little extra to accentuate the experience. I’ve been diving into trying out some smaller businesses bath products recently as in recent orders I’ve LOVED what I’ve found. Having a boyfriend that embraces keeping well groomed is brilliant too as we often both get super excited about new products and it gives me an excuse to buy more…shh.
I was recently stumbling around Google under the search ‘bath bombs UK’ (original, I know) and came across two sites. One called Beckys Bath Bombs, you can check out my post including their products here. The other, Heavenly Bubbles. The bath bomb designs were so exciting and vibrant that I just couldn’t resist popping an order in. Even better that in my opinion, they’re such a decent price for such intricate, hand made bath bombs. I quite honestly would’ve happily bought the whole site but here is a little look into the mini haul I ordered.
Heavenly Bubbles Mermaid Splash Bath Bomb // £4
When ordering a few of these bath bombs (this one and the unicorn one in particular) I was a bit apprehensive about what sort of state they’d arrive in. Only due to how extravagant they look and we all know that the postal service isn’t the most reliable at keeping things in one piece. As you can see from these photos, they arrived perfectly! The detail and colour on this is incredible and it’s got to be my favourite one aesthetically. I couldn’t put my finger on the scent of this one but the website describes it perfectly as a very beach-like combination of a floral, citrus and musk scent!
Heavenly Bubbles Unicorn Dreams Bath Bomb // £4
Isn’t this little guy the cutest?! I love the little gold horn and the multicoloured glitter mane. Not to mention the hand drawn eyes, I think that makes it so authentic and adorable. I’ve been looking for a cute unicorn bath bomb like this for the longest time that isn’t an extortionate price. It has been surprisingly difficult, most being priced around £6. I think the sheer effort clearly gone into making this deserves the money and it’s always great to support a smaller business. Especially ones with products as cute and quirky as these!
Heavenly Bubbles Donut Bath Bomb // £3
Despite how simple they are, I absolutely adore donut bath bombs. They just seem to disperse so nicely and have often been some of the best I’ve ever had! The colours of this one are so vibrant and the gold flecks really add an extra pop to the design aswell as to the bath (I’ve used this one already!). It had a sweet vanilla scent and actually leaves the water a deep purple with chunks of silky gold glitter floating around.
Heavenly Bubbles Unicorn Horn Bath Bomb // £3
I’ve got to say, this was a lot bigger than I expected. Not a bad thing at all although I’d feel sorry if a poor unicorn had this living on their forehead! It’s surprisingly not as vibrant in colour as the other bath bombs but still super cute. There’s not much else to say about this one other than it holds a really lovely fruity raspberry scent!
Heavenly Bubbles Candy Crush Bath Bomb // £3.50
This one again surprised me with just how large it is. The two halves of the bath bomb are sandwiched together with a more than generous swirl of cocoa butter and I’m so excited to see just how much moisture is left behind on the skin and hair after using this bomb. The cute little jelly beans on top are soap too so it’s like getting two products in one!
Heavenly Bubbles Unicorn Dreams Whipped Soap // £5
The scent of this soap is so sweet, even Jake is obsessed with it. It looks so perfectly whipped in the tub that I really just don’t want to ruin it! It’s definitely one of the best unicorn related products I’ve seen around and how smoothly the pastel colours fade into each other makes the perfectionist in me go crazy (in a good way). This is an ideal product for me as I’m not much of an in-shower solid soap user but I also like my shower gels to be thicker and moisturising. I’m sure It’s something I’ll be using super regularly for cleansing and shaving once I can bring myself to put my hand in it!
It was so brilliant to find and purchase from a business as unique as Heavenly Bubbles. In recent searches, the majority of exciting handmade bath products have been from America resulting in extortionate shipping that I cannot afford. The next products on my purchase list from Heavenly Bubbles are the Izzy bath bomb, the Glorious Sunset Huge Bath Bomb and the Strawberry Prosecco bath bomb! What is your favourite small bath business to buy from?
