Hallelujah Hair Oil: Forest And Shore!

1st April 2018

Hey everyone!

I don’t actually post all that much about hair products on here other than the lovely Natural World Brazilian Keratin products I reviewed a while back. I can’t say I take very good care of my hair to be honest. I really should being a serial bleacher and blow dryer. Today I have one of the most beautiful scented hair oils I have ever tried to share my thoughts on. I was gifted this item but I didn’t have to review it, this is solely me just sharing my pure love for it! It’s also free from synthetic fragrances and colours, parabens, sulphates, silicones, EDTA and mineral oils.

This is the fabulous “Hallelujah Hair Oil” by Forest and Shore. The packaging is simplistic with gorgeous illustrations of the plants that the oils were taken from on it. It all looks hand drawn and authentic which I absolutely adore about it as it accentuates the natural origins of the product. The organic oils in it are sesame, coconut, sunflower, arnica and olive and it also scented with lavender and rosemary giving it the most gorgeous and therapeutic scent. I never used to be a huge fan of lavender but recently I’ve found myself really appreciating it and this hits the nail on the head for me!

I have been using Hallelujah Hair Oil for two weeks now and I must say, I noticed a difference in my hair even after the first use. My hair can be quite flyaway and frizzy due to all of the bleach that I have killed it with over the years and in all honesty was in some serious need of saving. After washing my hair, I’ve been putting a few drops on the ends of my fingers, rubbing them together and then running it through the mid and ends of my hair.

I never expected a product to work so fast and so well, especially one that’s 100% organic and full of natural ingredients! My hair is so much softer and shinier when using this oil and it also claims to aid hair growth which I can’t say I have experienced yet but I have high hopes due to the other benefits it’s given my hair. I’ve recently been on a treatment which has been making me lose a noticeable amount of hair so it’s so nice to have a product that’s making me feel a little better about that as the hair I am left with, looks really nice.

Have you tried Hallelujah Hair Oil or do you have a holy grail hair product? I’d love to know as I want to put some effort into keeping my hair healthy from now on!

Ahh this sounds amazing – I’ve always been a coconut oil kinda gal, but always open to new hair treatments! I’ve been getting a lot of flyaways since I lost a load of my hair last year and it’s started growing back, poking out of my hair line and being all annoying ?? great post lovely! ❤️

I’m exactly the same when it comes to hair products I don’t really take proper care of it and don’t use extra products other than shampoo conditioner and dry shampoo! I might need to give these products a try! X

    • blacktulipbeauty says:

  11. I’ve always been afraid to use oil on my hair, as I’m afraid of using too much and making a mess of it lol but I have been wanting to try using some for a while now, and this one sounds great!

    • blacktulipbeauty says:

My hair is oily despite being bleached to hell and this works so well on it! I’ve actually been able to leave it way longer between washes since using it too! X

  12. Rosie says:

This post sounds almost too good to be true!! My ends need some serious help, I’m obsessed with wanting my hair as long as a mermaid. It’s currently down to my belly button and needs regular cuts cos it’s too heavy so my ends really suffer. I could seriously use this product in my suffering locks!

    • blacktulipbeauty says:

Haha! I’d love mermaid hair but unfortunately with bleached hair that will never happen! It sounds gorgeous and you deffo wouldn’t regret investing in this! X

  13. Rachael says:

The bottle seems like it goes such a long way aswell as you barely need any of the oil for it to give great benefits! X

  15. I have never heard of this brand before. I have also never used oil on my hair. I know it is not because they are grassy so i think i can’t use oil but this one sounds lush! xx corinne

What a glowing recommendation! I need to try this immediately. My hair has been so dry and lifeless recently.
    Great post love xxx

  20. Lily says:

I’ve never really thought about hair oils. Sometimes I use coconut oil and it seems to help, and I know it’s all natural as I legit just get a tub of coconut oil and run it through my hair. But I’ve never thought about purchasing an actual hair oil, and this does seem like a good choice! xx

  22. It’s really cute that your mum has commented on this post, I love that, it’s adorable! ? I love the sound of this hair oil – I’m actually awful at looking after my hair, I use heat on it every day, drying it and straightening it, at least once a day but I never put anything special on it to look after it! I’m going to take this as a sign that I need to get something in place.. ???‍♀️

    • blacktulipbeauty says:

Haha, she likes stealing my products but I love stealing hers too… Yeah it can be such a chore sometimes but after seeing the effects of this I definitely want to keep it up! You so should girl X

  23. Alice says:

This sounds like such a good product! I may need to invest. The way you’ve described the smell reminds me of a luxury spa for some reason, sounds like it would be great to use as part of a pamper session. I love products that work fast, especially hair-wise as my hair can get so dead and makes me feel less confident. I’m loving hair masks at the moment but I might just have to give this a go! x

    • blacktulipbeauty says:

It is honestly so gorgeous, your hair is so lovely anyway though! It does smell very spa-like. I really need to try a hair mask soon, you can also use this as an overnight treatment! X

  24. Katya says:

I honestly haven’t tried this product but now I am curious I need to try it.
