Happy New Year and welcome to the first post of 2018 on Black Tulip Beauty! I have lots of new ideas coming to the blog this year but I thought I’d kick it off with one of the things I love the most: bath products! So this is a new brand that i’ve never featured or even tried before. Miss Patisserie are an up and coming “Honest Vegan Skincare” brand. Their aim is to use lots of natural ingredients and make bath and body products for ethical women everywhere today.
I’ve been eyeing up their mango bath slab for a while as my other half loves mango. When I saw the luxury bath products were on 3 for 2 in Boots just before Christmas, I thought why not buy him the slab for his stocking and treat myself to two bits? I picked up the Rainbow River and Twinkle Bath Balls as they were the most colourful and jumped out at me. I’ll more than likely put a review up of the Twinkle Bath Ball soon too so keep your eyes peeled!
Upon dropping the ball into the bath, it immediately released an array of colours and spread out to almost completely fill the bath with pink, blue and yellow foam living up to rainbow in its name. The ball continuously kept spinning until it was all dissolved and left the water a strong, royal blue. The scent also spread out beyond the bath and made the entire bathroom smell super pretty.
Referring back to the website again, it’s described as a being filled with “peace, relaxation and serenity”. I’ve got to say, I did feel super sleepy and calm afterwards and I would definitely recommend this as a bath product to use before bed. It’s a shame I didn’t have some Lush Sleepy to apply afterwards which I REALLY want to try soon!
I would definitely recommend this product. The only thing I was slightly disappointed with was that I didn’t feel any sort of moisture left on my skin afterwards which is probably one of my favourite things about using bath bombs. Miss Patisserie do also sell bath melts too though so I imagine they would be the more moisturising ones! I can’t wait to try more products after using this one.
Have you tried anything from Miss Patisserie? What is your favourite smaller bath product brand? I love trying new things!
