Pink Glitter Cut Crease Makeup Look!

29th January 2017

Hey everyone!

So for someone who is a serial black wearer, something really odd has happened recently and i’ve been loving the colour PINK. It’s literally been years since i’ve even looked at the colour fondly let alone actually purchased anything close to the colour.
My most recent purchase has been a super gorgeous mens jumper from Urban Outfitters in the sale for £22, I got it in an XL as theres nothing I love more than a jumper thats super baggy that you can chuck on over a pair of leggings. It’s the one i’m wearing in the picture in the featured image of this post!
Which brings me on to my reason for this post today. I thought I’d experiment with my new Naked 3 palette as I got it for Christmas and it’s mainly filled with rose golds and pinks! Pair it with some glitter and you’re onto a winning look. Here is the look I ended up creating, going for a pink glitter cut crease this time around!
I am wearing Pore-fessional primer from Benefit, with Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in shade 1 Fair, then No7 Beautifully Matte on top in the shade Calico.
On my cheeks I am using my Kat Von D Shade and Light Contour palette and my ABH Sweets Glowkit 🙂
Then for the eyes, I used the shade Nooner from the Naked 3 palette as a base, it’s a sort of matte dark pink to use as a transition colour and to give the whole look a bit more depth, then used the shade Blackheart in the crease and blended upwards, it’s more of a medium shimmery purple as I wanted a more dramatic look and to make the glitter to stand out as much as possible.
As this is a cut crease, I put some concealer over the top of the lid up to the crease to neaten up the eyeshadow and have a fresh base to apply the glitter to and to shape where I was going to be applying it.
I then put some Too Faced Glitter Glue on my lid before applying and used a small lip brush with Urban Decay Setting Spray on it and dabbed the glitter on to my eyelids to create the finished look! I used my Sin City palette again from Crushed Gems Cosmetics and the shade I used this time is called ‘Pink Champagne’.
For my lips, I used a Lip Lingerie from Nyx in the shade ‘Embellishment’ which is like a dusty purple-pink.
And last but not least, I used Primarks Felt Tip Liner Pen for my eyeliner (which is actually a super fabulous eyeliner for only £1.50!!) and then Ardell Demi Wispie Lashes applied with Duo Eyelash Glue.
I aim to do more of a picture-full demo of how I do the pink glitter cut crease look soon if anyone would be interested in learning anything, practice makes perfect after all.
Hope you enjoyed this look even if you aren’t a pink lover!
’Til next time
