I hope you’re all enjoying all the festive bits and bobs gradually creeping into every day life at the moment. The decor, the food, the music…isn’t it great?! I’m certainly lapping it up as sadly it’ll be over before we know it. Todays post isn’t festive I’m afraid but I hope you still enjoy! I recently kindly got sent the “Cleanser P” from a brand called Skintifique and wanted to give my opinion on it today! If you also want to read a festive post check out one of my recent ones here or here.
Skintifique is a brand that was born in France and the USA. Their main focus is to bring some sort of help and comfort to people with unusual skin. For example, people with conditions like eczema, psoriasis or just generally sensitive skin. Their range is quite small and specific at the moment with 4 products but they are all non-allergenic and 100% pure, created with as few ingredients as possible. Another focus of theirs is to protect the skin against metals that irritate the skin and to help protect the skin from contact with these metals and pollutants.
This is more of a cleansing water that you use with cotton pads rather than a creamy one you wash off which I’ll admit are usually my favourites. I’ve tried the famous garnier micellar water previously and in all honesty I hated it! It made my skin feel horrible and left a greasy residue on top which broke me out so I was skeptical about this product. With the cleanser only having 5 ingredients in though, it did seem a lot more promising.
I’ve got to say, I’ve never found a cleanser as gentle and kind to the skin as this one. I have such sensitive eyes and this actually doesn’t irritate them at all surprisingly. I (shamefully) am usually a makeup wipe user mostly due to laziness but since using this i have actually been making the effort to double cleanse with it as it makes my skin feel so smooth and clean. It removes makeup so effortlessly and thoroughly, even my full coverage Kat Von D foundation.
I am extremely happy with this product and have already used quite a bit of it in such a small amount of time. I will definitely be purchasing it once I run out and it’s actually so much easier and more convenient than using a cream cleanser. At £9.99 per 200ml bottle on Amazon I think it really is a bargain for what a lovely product is and I would really love to try some other bits from their range! I imagine it will all be just as lovely and perfect for my skin.
What are your favourite cleansers? Have you ever tried anything from Skintifique?
