I can’t believe Sunday is already here again, the weeks are absolutely flying by at the moment. Whilst I don’t feel like we’ve had a proper Summer here in England at all, I’m more than ready for Autumnal weather and the fashion, makeup and excuse to be a hermit and drink lots of flavoured coffee that comes with it.
Back to body care today as I recently very kindly received a scrub from a fabulous up and coming brand called “What’s In It For Me..?” to try out for myself and review. This brand is UK based and currently selling their products online at Harvey Nichols and Fragrance Direct, despite them only having a small and basic range of 6 products at the moment, they seem to be making a pretty big impact with what they do have.
From their packaging and advertisement, you can tell they’re all about simplicity. Everything is clearly labelled with the stand out natural ingredients that the products contain and some of the things that the product will do for you and your skin.
The scrub they sent to me contains:
Eucalyptus oil – known to help heal wounds.
Rose oil – queen of moisture and antiseptic properties to clear spots.
Root Ginger – an anti-oxidant and improver of elasticity.
Sea Salts – balances oils and cleanses deep into the pores.
The packaging claims that the scrub exfoliates, warms, detoxifies and enhances circulation! Well does it?…
I love the consistency of it, I’d say it was a perfect inbetween-y scrub if you’re looking for something that isn’t too soft but isn’t too abrasive either. The texture is jelly based which leaves a nice moisture on the skin but it still has some kick to it due to the exfoliant parts being sea salt and bigger particles than the normal sugar you get in a lot of scrubs as it’s the easiest option. The smell is gorgeous too, it reminds me of a can of Rubicon believe it or not, super fruity and makes me want to be sat on a beach somewhere sipping cocktails.
It has left my skin feeling really soft and squeaky clean and I can honestly say it does all the things it says on the packaging! The scrub retails at £9.00 for 200ml on the Harvey Nichols website and I’d definitely recommend it for anyone at that price as it goes such a long way and contains such lovely, natural ingredients for the skin to soak up.
Have you heard of What’s In It For Me..? or tried any of their products yet?
